A few recent Standard Electric builds have strayed beyond “standard” with the addition of winged headstocks and attached fretboards which were done to try out some salvaged timbers from our recent house renovation. This is one of them. The Standard Electric models have typically been made with a 600 mm scale length, a fixed compensated bridge and a rails type humbucker. Tuning is GDG
